The Ops Planning Coordinators facilitate the scheduling of production equipment in our three main operations departments. If you are starting to grow in your supply chain career or enjoy coordinating and organizing the details, this is a great opportunity for you.

What you will do

  • Foster a safe work environment and lead by example, adhering to and enforcing all safety and regulatory procedures. Promptly acting on unsafe situations.
  • Input site manufacturing, production and/or team member schedules per policy for effective day-to-day operations and supports planning activities for long term timelines, while meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the entire production scheduling & management teams to ensure production goals are met, requests & collaborates on schedule changes due to machine or labor shortage.
  • Responsible to reconcile planned vs actual schedules.
  • Responsible to request & collaborate adjustments to schedules to meet unforeseen conditions and communicate clearly to all teams and management.
  • Follow workflow best practices to maximize available capacity and effective use of labor, tools, and equipment.
  • Initiates issue resolution for production success and reports status to team and manager.
  • Engages in identifying and contributing to improvement initiatives with the goal of increasing facility performance.
  • Track, maintain and report data timely.

Education / Professional Background

  • Associates degree and/or Bachelor’s degree is a plus in field related to supply chain or customer service;
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work experience in scheduling, data entry, manufacturing
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written and presentations)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgement and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Must be able to visit the manufacturing areas which require, hearing protection, safety shoes, vision, and other required protection when in manufacturing areas.
