The University's Postal Service Office is seeking to hire a Student Postal Worker that will assist with daily processing services.
Duties will include:
  • Sorting incoming mail for distribution and dispatches outgoing mail.
  • Collecting and delivering mail to specified locations on campus for processing.
  • Sorting mail according to destination and type, such as returned letters, adjustments, bills, orders, and payments.
  • Examining outgoing mail for appearance and seals envelopes.
  • Weighing mail to determine correct postage.
  • Adding entries to records regarding postage, parcels, billing and mail requiring special.
  • Handling certified, insured and express mail.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Education:
A High school diploma or equivalent, and some undergraduate level coursework is required. Candidates must be Morgan State University Students that are currently enrolled.

Experience:
No prior work experience is required.

  • Candidates with previous work experience in mail processing or delivery may be given preference.
