Position Overview
The Senior Mobile Equipment Supervisor provides regional leadership for mobile equipment maintenance, directly overseeing the primary maintenance hub and assigned satellite shops. This role serves as the system owner for maintenance strategy, standards, and performance across the region and acts as the primary maintenance interface to the Operations Manager. This role has full operational authority for assigned shop(s) and satellite locations within its geographic area. It acts as a senior peer and coach, not a daily task approver, to other supervisors
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams (mechanics and leads) across multiple shops
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mobile equipment while promoting a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities using structured work orders and fleet management systems (SAP, Samsara, EquipCheck)
  • Drive work order discipline and performance tracking to improve planning, accountability, and maintenance visibility
  • Manage maintenance budgets, including labor, parts, services, inventory, and vendor relationships to control costs and ensure timely support
  • Partner with Operations leadership to execute maintenance strategies, preventive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and extend asset life

Qualifications & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams across multiple locations and managing shop operations
  • Strong knowledge of mobile equipment maintenance practices, with emphasis on planning and work order execution
  • Proven ability to manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively
  • Experience using computerized maintenance systems (e.g., SAP, Samsara, EquipCheck) to support operations
  • Commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in industrial environments and may involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, temperature extremes, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
