Our marketing team plays a pivotal role in portraying our commitment to quality and our meticulous attention to detail through visually stunning and effective promotional materials. The Lifestyle Photographer at Whole Latte Love has a critical role within the Marketing team, responsible for capturing high-quality and compelling photographs that embody the essence and quality of our products, including espresso machines, coffee, and accessories. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adhere to deadlines, along with strong communication and collaboration skills, will be necessary to be successful. The individual will work closely with the Marketing Art Director and other team members to create visually appealing content that enhances our brand and product presence across various platforms.


Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality product, lifestyle, campaign, studio, and ecommerce photography for use across websites, marketing materials, social media, email, advertising, and other brand channels.
  • Photograph products with accuracy and attention to key features, usability, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.
  • Maintain consistent lighting, composition, camera positioning, color, mood, and overall visual standards across photography.
  • Plan and manage photography projects from concept through production, post-production, quality control, and final delivery.
  • Coordinate shoot logistics including products, locations, talent, schedules, props, equipment, travel, and other production needs.
  • Direct talent, style products and sets, and maintain an organized, professional, and productive shoot environment.
  • Contribute photography concepts, styling ideas, props, and set direction that support campaign objectives and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Video, Product, Purchasing, and leadership to understand campaign priorities, product launches, purchase orders, product availability, timelines, and photography needs.
  • Proactively gather and communicate product availability and PO information to ensure photography is planned and completed in time for launches and campaigns.
  • Own the product and ecommerce photography workflow, including product intake, pulls, preparation, photography, organization, returns, and final asset delivery.
  • Source or order products, accessories, components, props, and other materials required for shoots.
  • Manage product and bundler photography to ensure complete, accurate, and consistent asset sets, while maintaining records of completed and upcoming photography needs.
  • Edit and retouch imagery as needed and manage external retouching or post-production partners to ensure final assets meet brand and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain photography SOPs, file-naming conventions, organizational systems, and repeatable production workflows.
  • Manage photography archives and digital asset organization so files are accurately documented, easily accessible, and consistently delivered to internal teams.
  • Prepare and submit eligible photographic works for quarterly U.S. Copyright Office registration and maintain accurate registration records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready studio, including shoot setup and takedown and proper repacking and storage of machines, products, props, and equipment.
  • Communicate proactively about priorities, timelines, production needs, deliverables, and potential blockers while remaining receptive to feedback and changing priorities.
  • Maintain and strengthen the visual identity of Whole Latte Love and other Salzman Group brands, adapting photography to each brand while preserving a cohesive overall standard.
  • Stay current on photography trends, technologies, techniques, and emerging tools that can improve creative quality or workflow efficiency.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional photography experience, preferably in product, lifestyle, retail, ecommerce, or consumer-brand photography.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality product, studio, and lifestyle photography.
  • Proficiency with professional camera systems, lighting equipment, studio setups, and Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Strong knowledge of lighting, composition, color, retouching, styling, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience planning and executing photography productions from concept through final delivery.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, records, and deadlines independently.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to gather information, coordinate across departments, follow up proactively, and incorporate feedback.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities and production needs.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly develop strong product and coffee knowledge to create accurate and relevant visual content.
  • Experience with digital asset management and external retouching or post-production partners is preferred.
  • Experience with video, social content, and AI-supported creative workflows is a plus.
  • Passion for coffee and familiarity with espresso machines, grinders, brewing equipment, or related products is a plus.
