CONTROLLER

Salary: $140,000 - $164,000 Base

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONTROLLER:

  • Leadership: Manage your team and develop the Accounting Manager
  • Financial Statements: Manage the financial statements ensuring accuracy.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of property portfolios to support strategic decision-making.
  • Month-End Close: Manage month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage & Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities for assigned properties.
  • Audit Support: Manage the preparation for audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTROLLER:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of real estate, property management experience
  • HUD, Public Housing, Rural Development, LIHTC
