Who You Are
  • 4+ years of automotive experience, preferably in Motorsports
  • Technical knowledge of race cars - Porsche exposure a plus
  • A leader that possesses outstanding technical knowledge, racing experience and excellent people skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate with mechanics, engineers, management, and other supporting departments
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a high sense of urgency and ability to follow and execute on policies and procedures
  • Enjoys working in a team environment with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving goals
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Able to perform all physical requirements of position
  • Ability to provide own tools as necessary
  • Endurance racing experience; preferred

What You'll Do
  • Work closely with car chief in the shop and while out on the road at race events
  • Complete race car preparation, maintenance, and repairs
  • Evaluate assigned race cars before, during, and after events, and recommend adjustments, maintenance, or repairs to the Crew Chief and/or Team Manager
  • Order parts and supplies as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels or to address maintenance and repair needs of individual vehicles
  • Perform trackside preparation, maintenance, and/or repairs of race cars
  • Perform car setups based upon the recommendations and/or requirements of the engineers and drivers
  • Assist with set up and tear down at race events
  • Professionally represent the team and sponsors on and off track
  • Provide a superior client experience to partners and guests by answering questions during shop, garage, and pit tours
  • Follow Company policies & procedures in making all necessary repairs
  • Provide support for other team members as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
  • May be required to work long hours
  • Travel required for race events, approximately 40%
