Brief Role Description
This position is a career level 20P and is located in Reston, VA with a role classification of Hybrid.
This position will be responsible for analyzing Audi incentive spend and remarketing proceeds. The Senior Specialist will provide timely, accurate, and actionable financial reporting to management, and will assist with the development of planning round, budget, and monthly forecast. The Senior Specialist will provide the business units with financial consultation while serving as a strategic collaborator. The position will ensure that corporate policies and procedures are followed.
Possible Tasks within this Role
Program Performance & Budget Tracking - 80% of time
  • Drive financial close and forecast accuracy with system inputs, performance metrics and dashboards.
  • Support month-end and provision/accrual process.
  • Collect, analyze, discuss, and consolidate spend deviations in new car and used/CPO incentives, across all retail channels (pure retail, fleet, service loaners) also with external partners.
  • Further develop incentive reporting to brand finance with internal system for Finance/Controlling.
  • Instill discipline and accountability in the use of resources.
  • Monitor monthly performance, quantify request prior to approval, and deliver KPI's.
  • Provide financial consulting and strategic collaboration and advise leadership on resource efficiency.
  • Residual value forecasting.
  • Adjustment of pricing logics to maximize net revenues.
  • Assist Brand Controller in planning round and budget development, also for finance IT.

Competitor & Market Analysis - 20% of time
  • Variance analysis for budgeted remarketing proceeds vs. actuals.
  • Drive implementation and monitoring of agreements (between brand and captive finance entity).
  • Provide timely and accurate management reporting for the Audi brand organization.
  • Assist in business case development, ensure results are measured, and guide leadership as it details business priorities in plans, budgets and daily spending activities.
