Job description

Detail Technician- Porsche

Porsche Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA

Porsche is seeking a highly motivated detail technician to join our team of professionals. This candidate will be responsible for the installation of both products on new car inventory and sold customer vehicles.

Installation is to conform to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances. Must show attention to detail to deliver a consistent high quality installation. Follow Company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, dust, harsh chemicals. Work in a fast-paced environment with various work schedules / days / hours of operations. Technical school experience is preferred. At least one year's experience as a specialty tint technician in an aftermarket or auto dealership is preferred.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Enthusiasm for the Automotive Dealership industry with a focus on customer service.
  • The capability of operating standard shift vehicles.
  • Reliable with a solid work ethic.
  • High-Volume Shop Experience.
  • Excels in maintaining and repairing vehicles.

  • Must be able pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test)

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. regularly.
  • Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.
  • Good vision to inspect repair work.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
