Description:

The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment for guests. This role ensures the pool deck is properly set up prior to opening, including arranging seating, stocking towels, and preparing amenities. Throughout the shift, the Pool Attendant provides attentive customer service, maintains cleanliness, and supports guest needs. At closing, the position is responsible for breaking down and resetting the pool area, including collecting towels, storing equipment, and securing amenities. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in an outdoor, guest-focused environment.

Requirements:

Opening Duties

  • · Set up pool area prior to guest arrival, including installing and inflating the pool slide.
  • · Arrange pool deck seating by aligning all chairs in an orderly and consistent layout.
  • · Place one clean towel on each lounge chair and fully stock the towel station.
  • · Organize and make pool toys accessible and presentable for guest use.
  • · Inspect pool deck and surrounding areas; remove all trash, debris, and hazards.
  • · Ensure overall cleanliness and readiness of the pool environment.
Guest Service Responsibilities
  • · Provide attentive, courteous service to all pool guests.
  • · Serve poolside food and alcoholic beverages in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • · Monitor towel inventory and replenish as needed throughout shift.
  • · Maintain cleanliness of pool deck, seating areas, and amenities continuously.
  • · Respond promptly to guest requests and escalate issues when appropriate.
Closing Duties

  • · Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds (e.g., towels, chairs, pool equipment).
  • · Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently.
