Job Overview:

A pool cleaner cleans and maintains residential and commercial pools. Additionally maintain the pool area in a clean, orderly fashion while assuring all pool safety rules and regulations are enforced.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pool route each week with regular pool maintenance which includes, testing and maintaining water quality, adjusting pool chlorination, cleaning and backwashing filters, brushing and vacuuming pools, cleaning tiles, and other similar activities.
  • Remove debris from pool surface and floor, balance chemicals, and oversee the general upkeep of all pool equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees in order to best serve the customer.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.
  • Must be professional, helpful, courteous and provide the highest quality of service.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and maintain clean jobsites.
  • Maintain accurate records & company forms.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean M.V.R
  • Pool experience preferred, but willing to train.
  • Must have physical ability to lift 50+ lb.
  • Ability to work outside for long periods of time, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
  • Be dependable, reliable, responsive, problem solver and detail oriented.
  • Pass a drug screen & background check.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.
