Position Overview:

We're looking for a dependable and friendly Part-Time Pool Store Associate to join our retail team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, is organized, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the pool industry is a plus, but not required-we'll provide the training.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service & Sales Support (40%)

  • Greet and assist customers in-store
  • Answer product and service-related questions
  • Recommend appropriate pool chemicals, parts, and accessories
  • Provide helpful advice for basic pool maintenance issues

2. Water Testing & Chemical Recommendations (25%)

  • Test customer pool water samples using provided equipment
  • Accurately interpret results and recommend chemical treatments
  • Maintain cleanliness and calibration of testing stations

3. Parts & Inventory Handling (15%)

  • Locate and pull parts for customer purchases
  • Restock shelves and assist with inventory counts
  • Help receive and organize deliveries

4. Checkout & Transactions (15%)

  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly

5. Store Cleanliness & Miscellaneous Tasks (5%)

  • Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Assist with signage, displays, or store promotions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager

Qualifications:
