Job description

By bringing together next-gen technology and the highest fidelity live data available, Genius Sports is enabling a new era of sports for fans worldwide, delivering experiences that are more immersive, interactive and personalized than ever before.Learn more at geniussports.com
The Role:

Genius Sports sits at the convergence of live sports data, programmatic advertising, and the next generation of fan engagement. Our Moment Engine and Fan Graph are a differentiated product suite with no direct equivalent in the market. We need the executive who builds the partner ecosystem that scales it.

This is a P&L-accountable leadership role. You will own the full channel architecture: strategy, segmentation, team structure, and the commercial number. You will define how Genius grows through partners and independent agencies not just manage a pipeline.

What You'll Do:

  • Set the channel strategy: which partner segments to prioritize, how we price and package for the channel, and where we invest to win.
  • Own two distinct revenue lines: Channel Partnerships (DSPs, platforms, programmatic integrations) and Independent Agencies (AOR and specialist agencies outside the holding company groups) with separate playbooks, coverage models, and targets for each.
  • Own the combined revenue number and the metrics beneath it activation, expansion, velocity, win rate and move each one.
  • Build and lead a high-performance sales organization across both segments: hiring philosophy, leveling, ramp design, coaching cadence, and performance standards.
  • Design the GTM architecture alongside field sales, with clean segmentation from holding company agency coverage and zero channel conflict.
  • Partner at senior level with Marketing, RevOps, Product, and Ad Ops to make the channel a growth multiplier, not just a distribution layer.
  • Operate with forecast discipline: 10% accuracy, clean CRM, and pipeline management.

What We're Looking For:

  • 12+ years in advertising, ad-tech, or media, with a meaningful portion owning a revenue number across inside, channel, or agency sales organizations.
  • Proven track record building commercial engines from scratch ICP, playbook, tooling stack, rep ramp and scaling them.
  • Senior presence: you've influenced cross-functional roadmaps, presented to C-suite, and shaped company-level go-to-market decisions.
  • Deep fluency in the modern media stack programmatic, CTV, social, identity, measurement and the partner ecosystem that runs on it.
  • Experience in sports media, sports data, or fan engagement is a strong differentiator

This role offers an annualized salary of up to $300,000 USD, plus variable compensation, and includes eligibility for Genius Sports Group's benefits plan.

We enjoy an 'office-first' culture and maximize opportunities to collaborate, connect and learn together. Our hybrid working models differ depending on your role and location. Occasional travel may be required.

As well as a competitive salary and range of benefits, we're committed to supporting employee wellbeing and helping you grow your skills, experience and career. Learn more about how rewarding life at Genius can be at Reward | Genius Sports.
