Position: Beach Pool Attendant
Department: Pool, Lounge, & Corporate Events Operations
Reports To: Venue Management
Salary Type: Hourly


Position Summary: The Beach Pool Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the pool deck within a resort-style environment. This role supports daily pool operations by assisting guests, managing amenities, and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and service-focused atmosphere at Soleia Las Vegas.


Essential Functions

The following duties are representative of the essential functions of this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive:

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to all guests
  • Welcome guests to the pool deck and assist with seating, cabanas, and general pool information
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond with urgency, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing pool deck environment at all times
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of cabanas, lounge areas, and poolside amenities
  • Monitor and maintain pool seating areas, including straightening chairs, adjusting layouts, and ensuring guest comfort
  • Collect and remove used towels, trash, and debris to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Replenish towel stations and roll towels to maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Restock guest amenities, including sunscreen stations and other poolside supplies
  • Support towel desk operations and assist with distribution and collection of towels as needed
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring all areas are properly prepared for service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, storage areas, and workspaces
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding guest needs or operational issues
  • Support team members across departments to ensure smooth and efficient pool operations
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns in a professional manner and escalate to management when necessary
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in accordance with grooming standards
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude
  • Adhere to all company service procedures, operational standards, and safety guidelines
  • Assist with and/or complete additional tasks as assigned

Responsible Alcohol Service

  • Monitor alcohol consumption and guest behavior for signs of intoxication
  • Escalate alcohol-related or guest behavior concerns to management immediately
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal alcohol laws and regulations

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including SNHD requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
  • Report accidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately to management
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain required work cards (Food Handler Card, Alcohol Awareness Card, and any other required certifications)
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)
  • 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, resort-style venues, high-volume food and beverage service

  • Fast-paced, high-volume, high-energy hospitality environment including club, pool, lounge, bar, restaurant, and nightlife settings
  • Exposure to varying noise levels, crowds, and entertainment elements including music, lighting effects, and seasonal events
  • Indoor and outdoor work environments with exposure to hot and cold surfaces, wet floors, steam, and varying weather conditions
  • Schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended or varied shifts based on business needs
  • Must maintain a friendly, guest-focused demeanor and willingness to engage with guests at all times
