The Project Manager will report directly to the Project Management Office (PMO) Director and lead multiple, complex IT initiatives within the modular Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).
The Project Manager will initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, and close projects as assigned and in accordance with state/federal regulations and industry best practices. The candidate will interact and coordinate with all levels of DMAS, including with external vendors, federal partners, and oversight entities, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Virginia IT Agency (VITA), Virginia Office of Attorney General (OAG), and others.
