Overview

Bluewater Federal is looking for a PMEL/PAMS Functional Engineer to support the USAF at Maxwell AFB.

The Base Maintenance (BMx) Family of Systems program provides critical lifecycle support for enterprise U.S. Air Force logistics and maintenance systems that enable global mission readiness and sustainment operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide functional and technical expertise supporting PAMS sustainment, modernization, PMEL operational workflows, TMDE visibility, calibration scheduling, quality program management, and measurement traceability activities.
  • Support analysis, modernization, integration, testing, and operational validation of workflows supporting enterprise PMEL operations.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, System Architects, Enterprise Integration personnel, Help Desk personnel, and Independent Test Teams to ensure modernization and sustainment activities preserve TMDE inventory integrity, calibration due-date visibility, workload forecasting, PMEL scheduling continuity, measurement uncertainty reporting, and operational certification workflows.
  • Support operational workflow validation, modernization backlog prioritization, data exchange analysis, audit readiness support, and quality-program sustainment activities affecting PMEL and calibration operations across the BMx ecosystem.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years PMEL or calibration management support- mission-critical maintenance systems.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • Experience with PMEL operations, TMDE workflows, Calibration management, Measurement traceability, Maintenance workflow analysis and Operational reporting
  • PMEL/TMDE-related certifications and Security+ are preferred
