SUPPLY TECHNICIAN Mission Department IBDSS, Test Site C-3, Eglin AFB, FL Open Position Request Number R-78-26 CLASSIFICATION: Supply Technician; CBA Rate $29.35/Hr GRADE: Non-Exempt; Regular Full-time LOCATION: Eglin AFB, FL - On Site POSTING DATE: Internal Applicants (07/30/2026) / External Applicants (08/05/2026) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This position works with minimal guidance from the section lead. This position performs limited aspects of supply management such as material pick up, inspection, delivery, inventory management, storage, cataloging, and utilization reporting related to depot, local or other supply activities. GENERAL DUTIES: * Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g. inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Assist with TMDE/PMEL records/paperwork and any delivery receipts to ensure property is properly inspected and ensure compliance with government standards and requirements. * Assist with Site Vehicle Monitor (SVM) duties including Record keeping of 1800's and general vehicle up-keep (fueling and cleaning). * Serve as C-3 Civil Engineering Liaison for ongoing and upcoming projects needing CE support. * May be required to locate, requisition, expedite, track, and dispense stock or inventory, and coordinate movement of parts, and assemblies within the shop in accordance with production and delivery schedules or department supervisors' priorities. * Assist with Facility Manager duties to include creating/submitting service request in TRIRIGA. * Other functions may include responsibility for tracking B-property, PMEL, HAZMAT. * Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary to support contract and mission support requirements in job-related areas. * Performs general housekeeping duties to assigned work areas and maintaining a clean work area. Job Requirements OTHER DUTIES: Position performs other functions as needed such as general housekeeping of assigned work area, work-center safety monitor, security, facility management, vehicle upkeep, etc. May be required to pick up, inspect, deliver, inventory and update records. Operation of government owned vehicles is required, must have, and must maintain a current, valid State driver's license and qualify for a government driver's license. Courier duties, to include pick-up and delivery of TMDE. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: The candidate must be able to read, write and communicate clearly. It is highly desirable that they must have familiarity with the interlocking policies associated with a contractor-operated supply system. Must have knowledge of the TMDE/PMEL program and familiar with Facility Manager duties. They must have thorough knowledge of receiving, storage, cataloging and consumption of inventory principles. The individual is required to be familiar with the use of electronic-based data collection systems to input data and produce reports. The candidate must have experience in tracking outstanding purchase requisitions, receiving, checking, and routing materials. The individual must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance. The operation of government owned vehicles is required. The candidate must have and maintain a current, valid state driver's license and qualify for a government driver's license. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Supports E-OMS operational objectives; observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security and Administrative policies. Supports Process Improvement. WORK ENVIRONMENT: May be required to work both inside and outside under a wide range of temperature and humidity and must be capable of operating various kinds of mechanized material handling equipment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal duties require bending, stooping, standing, climbing, and extensive lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds and transporting heavy items using a hand-truck or forklift.
