Title: Calibration Technician
Location: Colorado Springs, CO (in-person)
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 40-50 hrs/week)
Pay rate: $25- 40/hr (DOE)

Position Overview:

Join our team as a Calibration Technician, performing precision calibrations on electrical or mechanical measurement equipment while ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to expand your technical skills in a collaborative, quality-focused environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate electrical and/or mechanical test equipment, including:
    • Mechanical: calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, torque tools, etc.)
    • Electrical: oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, etc.)
  • Perform calibration in accordance with NIST-traceable, A2LA, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
  • Generate accurate calibration reports and certificates
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and verify calibration equipment
  • Assist in developing and improving calibration procedures
  • Support internal and external quality audits with technical expertise


Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience in calibration, metrology, manufacturing, machining, or a related technical field
  • Experience calibrating electrical, mechanical, temperature, pressure, torque, or related measurement equipment preferred
  • Trade school certification, technical training, or engineering education is a plus
  • DoD, PMEL, or military calibration experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
