InstroTek, Inc. is seeking a customer focused, motivated, detail-oriented Gauge Calibration Technician to join our growing team in Denver, Colorado. As a Gauge Calibration Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring testing equipment meets strict quality and compliance standards. We'll train.ย 


What You'll Do
  • ย Serve as the primary point of contact customers throughout the equipment service process including walk-ins and via phone
  • Support the gauge service team with daily operations
  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the equipment service cycle
  • Perform 3-Block and 5-Block Nuclear Gauge Calibrations
  • Prepare calibration documentation for compliance requirements
  • Follow ISO/IEC 17025:2017 guidelines
  • Use custom calibration software (CalPlus Pro)
  • Build standard blocks and maintain equipment
  • Clean lubricate, and diagnose gauges for repair needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements

What You Bring
  • ย Strong customer service and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Previous experience with technical troubleshooting, mechanical work, equipment repair, or other hands-on technical tasks preferred
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail Ability to enter the dates into Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work in laboratory environments involving asphalt, concrete, and soil testing materials
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn calibration and testing procedures
  • High School Diploma


Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Stand for extended periods while working on equipment
  • Laboratory facilities contain minor, fully shielded radiation sources used strictly for materials testing
  • All areas are monitored and controlled under strict safety protocols
  • Exposure risk is minimal and well below occupational safety thresholds
