Job description

A Window and Door Measurement Technician is responsible for taking accurate, on-site measurements of windows and doors to ensure proper fit, replacement, or installation. This role is critical in both residential and commercial projects, as precise measurements directly affect customer satisfaction and project quality. Measurement Tech typically measures 12+ jobs per day (ranging from 1 to 40+ windows/1-5 doors at a time). Company vehicle issued along with gas card.


Core Responsibilities

  • On-site measurements: Measure existing windows and doors for replacement, repair, or installation, ensuring accuracy to the required tolerances.
  • Inspections: Inspect contracted work to verify measurements and installation accuracy.
  • Customer service: Communicate clearly with clients to explain measurements, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Documentation: Record measurements, inspect findings, and update project records in a timely manner.
  • Coordination: Work with design consultants, installers, and other team members to ensure smooth project flow.
