Position Overview

This Window Measure Tech role at Home Genius Exteriors owns the post-sale customer and vendor experience, overseeing window projects through to final installation for our Detroit Market.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Window Measure Technician that will visit job sites to take precise measurements of window and door openings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with product specifications, followed by administrative work inputting the measurements into our system prior to ordering materials and installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate measurements to confirm custom orders (additional bonus opportunity for accurate measurements)
  • Determine the scope of work through inspection of each job site
  • Input accurate job site information into our systems to prep for ordering & installs
  • Travel between 2-3 job sites per day using a company-provided vehicle

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of construction management experience
  • 2+ years of experience measuring for windows and doors
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and perform administrative tasks
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and discipline
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service focus
