Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The PLM Engineer serves as the technical leader and subject matter expert for PLM, Digital Thread, Product Data Governance, and Engineering Systems transformation initiatives. This role partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, Business Planning, Purchasing, and ITDC stakeholders across North America and globally to develop PLM capabilities, standardize Engineering processes, and deliver measurable business value through enterprise digital transformation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and influence the NA PLM roadmap and architecture strategy.

  • Provide technical leadership for Digital Thread and Engineering DX initiatives.

  • Facilitate alignment among Business and Function group stakeholders.

  • Influence enterprise digital transformation initiatives through technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Define PLM solution architecture and integration strategy.

  • Evaluate emerging PLM technologies and recommend future-state capabilities.

  • Establish product data governance principles and best practices.

  • Provide technical guidance for enterprise engineering system integrations.

  • Support cybersecurity and data governance requirements within PLM environments.

  • Align GHQ activities and initiatives related to PLM with the ones that are for regional.

  • SME for PLM tool development, implementation and adoption.

  • Planning for user adoption and benefit realization of PLM tools.

  • Deliver measurable business value through improved quality, speed, efficiency, and innovation.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 10+ Years of Related Experience in PLM, Product Development, Engineering Systems, or Digital Engineering.

  • Demonstrated expertise implementing enterprise PLM platforms.

  • Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management, Product Data Management, Change Management, Requirements Management, and Engineering processes.

  • Experience with enterprise PLM platforms such as Aras Innovator, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, Windchill, or equivalent.

  • Proven engagement with high-performing teams and delivering measurable business value.
