The Opportunity

The Senior Application Analyst will work on software design, configuration, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). As a primary support contact for application end users, the Senior Application Analyst will identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the PLM environment, as well as issues that impact integrated systems and other application teams. This role will guide workflow and solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation and will analyze functional and technical issues associated with product lifecycle processes and supporting business applications.

The Senior Application Analyst will also have a proven ability to lead and mentor analysts, providing guidance and support while promoting best practices. This role requires a strong focus on delivering excellent support to end users, as well as effective communication and collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional business teams, technical teams, and external partners.

This role requires working onsite in Madison, WI, up to four days per week.

What You'll Work On

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support being the voice of the customer for stakeholders for one product area to ensure their needs are heard and that the delivery teams are getting the support needed.
  • Translate user and business needs into high-level requirements for work assignments of low to medium complexity by utilizing a structured process for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing change to assess and recommend solutions based on cost vs. benefit analysis and parallels to overall business strategy.
  • Assist in defining acceptance criteria for product features of low to medium complexity, and ensuring they are understood by the delivery team.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success. Monitor product performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve product outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, such as gap analyses, business process flow charts, decision tables, features, and business requirements document to aid in the development and refinement of new analytical tools and processes.
  • Provide input and support during implementation phase, composing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and participating in design reviews and walk throughs.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Engineering (QE) to ensure the product meets high standards of quality, performance and reliability by defining the product requirements and acceptance criteria, which are then used by the QE team to develop test plans and test cases.
  • Monitor product performance after implementation to ensure efficiency of operations and proactively provide continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across departments to achieve product goals.
  • Actively participate in all squad ceremonies.
  • Review work completed by the squad, provide feedback, and accept work, as applicable.
  • Assist in the management of the product backlog by grooming and prioritizing, while ensuring work is in line with product strategy and OKRs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and business partners to drive satisfaction.
  • Ability to collaborate and operate in a cross-cultural and complex matrixed environment to build consensus across functions.
  • Communicate product updates and releases to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 12 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions, either in an application analyst or project delivery role.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply industry best practices.
  • Strong computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) design, configuration, and support, including Product Development, Product Hub/Product Information Management, and Change Management.
  • Strong understanding of integration points between Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM and other Oracle Cloud applications and enterprise systems, including product, item, BOM, and related master data integrations.

The base pay for this position is

$78,000.00 - $156,000.00
