Job description

Position: Automation QA Engineer Playwright & Performance Testing

Location: Bethesda, MD

Work Model: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, Performance Testing, and Salesforce application testing. The ideal candidate will have experience validating enterprise-scale Salesforce applications, testing high-volume transactions, and ensuring application performance, scalability, and reliability within a Hospitality environment.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of QA Automation experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or NeoLoad.
  • Strong experience testing Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
  • Experience validating large-volume data migrations and data integrity.
  • Strong API testing experience using Postman or REST APIs.
  • Experience with SQL for backend data validation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Hospitality domain experience (Reservations, Property Management, Loyalty, Guest Experience).
  • Experience testing high-volume enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integrations, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Execute functional, regression, API, integration, and end-to-end testing for Salesforce applications.
  • Perform load, stress, scalability, and performance testing to ensure system reliability.
  • Validate large-scale data migration and data reconciliation across Salesforce environments.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Identify defects, analyze root causes, and support production validation.
  • Participate in test planning, sprint activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
