6+ months Contract

St' Louis, MO - Onsite Role

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and experience in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify testing requirements and execute comprehensive test plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and ETL tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and prioritize test cases.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid delivery of high-quality software.
- Conduct thorough analysis of test results and provide feedback to development teams.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices for test automation.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in automation tools and frameworks.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, preferably in Migrations
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
- Experience with Playwright automation tool.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Github Actions.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
