We are looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to drive quality assurance strategy for enterprise EDI and API integration platforms. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with ownership of automation architecture, QA governance, stakeholder alignment, and mentoring of distributed QA teams.

Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for EDI transaction workflows.
Validate inbound and outbound EDI transactions across formats such as X12, EDIFACT, ANSI, XML, JSON, or equivalent formats.
Automate UI workflows using Playwright with TypeScript.
Develop and execute API automation tests for integration services, middleware, and downstream systems.
Define and drive the QA strategy for EDI platforms, integration workflows, and associated enterprise applications.
Architect scalable Playwright automation frameworks for UI-driven EDI business processes.
Establish API automation standards, reusable libraries, reporting practices, and CI/CD quality gates.
Lead automation coverage planning for EDI transaction flows, partner onboarding, mapping validation, and integration checks.
Drive shift-left testing practices, risk-based regression planning, and release readiness governance.
Review automation design, code quality, framework maintainability, and test coverage across the team.
Coordinate with solution architects, development teams, business stakeholders, integration teams, and trading partners.
Analyse production or release issues and define preventive and corrective quality measures.
Provide QA estimates, status reporting, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to programme stakeholders.
Coach and mentor QA engineers on EDI testing, Playwright automation, API validation, and quality engineering practices.
