About the Role: 
JRK Steel Inc. is looking for a skilled Plasma Table Operator to join our team in Duluth, MN! This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge metal fabrication equipment in a fast-paced, production-driven environment where your precision and craftsmanship truly matter. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC plasma cutting tables to cut metal components to specification
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and cut sheets
  • Program or load cut files into plasma table software/CNC controls
  • Inspect finished parts for quality, dimensional accuracy, and clean cuts
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plasma cutting equipment
  • Organize and stage raw material (steel plate, sheet metal) for efficient workflow
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards

Requirements:
  • Prior experience operating a CNC plasma cutting table or similar metal fabrication equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
  • Basic math skills including measurements and tolerances
  • Familiarity with steel grades, plate sizes, and material handling
