Terry's Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for a dependable HVAC Plasma Table Operator to support our sheet metal fabrication operations in Twin Falls.

This position focuses on operating a plasma cutting table to produce accurate sheet metal components used for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. We're looking for someone who is comfortable working with machinery, pays close attention to measurements and details, and takes pride in producing consistent, quality work.

What You'll Do

As an HVAC Plasma Table Operator, you'll help keep fabrication projects moving by cutting and preparing sheet metal components accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate the plasma cutting table to produce HVAC sheet metal parts and components

  • Load appropriate materials and prepare the machine for cutting

  • Review job specifications, measurements, and cutting requirements

  • Set up and select appropriate cutting files or layouts

  • Monitor equipment during operation to maintain accuracy and quality

  • Inspect completed pieces for correct dimensions and overall quality

  • Label, organize, and stage cut components for the fabrication team

  • Track materials and help minimize unnecessary scrap and waste

  • Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Assist with other sheet metal shop activities when needed

  • Follow company safety procedures and fabrication standards

What We're Looking For
  • Experience operating a plasma table, CNC cutting equipment, fabrication machinery, or similar equipment is preferred

  • Sheet metal or HVAC fabrication experience is helpful

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and work with dimensions
