Job description

Bingham Ag Services is currently seeking an Ag Operator. This position is responsible for managing relationships with assigned strategic accounts and driving sales of farm store products focusing on feed, twine, and heavy hardware. Provide in-house training, connect with local product experts, and facilitate local growers in understanding product benefits.

The Ag Operator will primarily be focused on:

Soil sampling

Tissue sampling

Water monitor

Setup servicing

Load and unload inventories and log them as necessary

Assist in shop and warehouse as needed

Assist as directed in the upkeep of company equipment

Accurately complete all internal paperwork and forms as required.

Continuous cleaning of the work area, to include but not limited to product drips and minor spills.

Perform safety inspections

Chemical deliveries (CDL)

Yield digs

Field scouting

The preferred candidate for the Ag Operator will have the following:

Able to obtain Company forklift certification.

Able to pass HAZMAT certification process and obtain CDL

Willing to obtain Commercial Pesticide License

Willing to receive training and all necessary licenses and certifications for the position

Strong customer service skills.

Able to learn company systems and processes.

Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations.

Willing to learn and apply sound agronomic practices
