Job description

dormakaba is seeking a Plant Controller based in Reamstown, PA. The Plant Controller is responsible for contributing to the North Americas Finance team, partnering with operations, procurement and supply chain to support the plant in Reamstown and provide meaningful performance insight and drive financial management processes. The ideal candidate will have previous controlling or accounting responsibilities including financial steering within a plant environment.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $140,000 - $160,000 plus a short term incentive bonus (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do
  • Serve as strategic finance business partner for plant management, regional executives, and global finance teams to ensure the translation of strategic goals into operational plans for plant efficiency improvement
  • Execute monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of all financial results
  • Provide the business/operations team with detailed recurring analysis of income statements/balance sheets, variance explanations and driver‑based variance analysis
  • Organize and prepare for the business annual budgets, standard cost updates, planning processes and forecasting “Cost of Goods Sold”
  • Work with the operations team to develop realistic financial plans aligned to operational goals and integrate those into the 12-month rolling forecast cadence
What we require
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience as Plant Controller or in similar leadership role within FP&A and Accounting
  • Working knowledge in a manufacturing environment with standard based accounting system
  • Experience in ERP implementation
