Job Overview
As a Buyer in our manufacturing plant, you will help secure reliable supply, strengthen supplier partnerships, and contribute to efficient, cost-conscious purchasing processes.
Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of market analyses and the implementation of category strategies for the plant.
  • Develop and execute profitable purchasing strategies and negotiation approaches in close alignment with relevant functions and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the supply market continuously and manage the supplier portfolio to ensure quality, cost efficiency, on-time delivery, sustainability, and compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
  • Negotiate prices and conditions in line with internal purchasing guidelines and contractual requirements, and manage supplier contracts professionally.
  • Coordinate the assigned suppliers, including purchase price planning and the definition and tracking of saving initiatives that support plant performance.

Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, or a comparable commercial role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong negotiation skills and confidence in supplier management
  • Good command of English
  • Structured, analytical, and team-oriented way of working
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
