As a Planisware Senior Consultant on the Life Sciences team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading workstreams for Planisware-enabled transformation engagements for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device clients, including business process design, implementation support, and operational improvement
  • Gathering and translating business, portfolio, resource, and financial management requirements into solution designs, implementation plans, and delivery milestones
  • Supporting pharmacovigilance and adverse event operations initiatives through process optimization, data automation, reporting, and technology enablement
  • Managing coordination across client stakeholders, Deloitte teams, and third-party vendors to track milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions
  • Driving adoption of new processes and tools through testing, training, documentation, and post-implementation support

Within that practice, Deloitte's Life Sciences team works with organizations developing therapies, treatments, devices, and cures to address critical health challenges. The team helps clients advance clinical and business transformation through industry knowledge, flexible delivery approaches, and technology-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Life Sciences
  • 4+ years of experience in life sciences, pharmacovigilance, or management consulting
  • 4+ years of experience implementing project management and resource management platforms, including Planisware or Microsoft Project Online
  • Experience supporting portfolio management, resource management, financial management, pharmacovigilance, or process automation initiatives
  • Experience working with global regulatory frameworks, including International Council for Harmonisation (ICH), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), European Medicines Agency (EMA), and Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA)
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Planisware, including resource management and financial management
  • Advanced degree, including Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
  • Experience with Jira or Confluence
  • Experience implementing artificial intelligence-enabled or automated case processing solutions
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile or Scrum methodologies

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $128,000-$252,500

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
