Product Engineer 1

Job Description:

The Product Engineer will be working within our Product Engineering team and close to R&D. A successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving released products or product lines, report and monitor yield and performance trends on those and work with contract manufacturers, the fab and other engineering teams on keeping the product healthy.ย  In addition the product engineer will support new product developments to their full release.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ย Generate and present run charts and statistical process control (SPC) charts
  • ย Report yield fluctuations and be involved in resolving their cause
  • ย Daily interaction with the production engineers for feedback and trouble shooting
  • ย Review test data and release product to finished goods inventory
  • ย Assist with generating specifications and sorting algorithms for new products
  • ย Assist with generating test requirements for new product development
  • ย Generate internal part numbers and BOM for new products
  • ย Generate automated test IDs
  • ย Support reliability and test teams in new product qualification and failure analysis
