About The Role
As a Plan Document Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the documentation, design, and compliance of retirement plans (401(k), 403(b), 457(b)). Drafting plan documents, restatements, and amendments while ensuring compliance with IRS and DOL regulations. Key tasks include updating plan provisions, assisting with regulatory restatements, and working closely with our clients to ensure the document meets their needs.
Responsibilities"
  • Have experience with 403(b), 401(k), and 457(b) plan documents
  • Consult clients on plan provisions and administrative complexities, with a focus on the plan sponsor's objectives and ease in administration
  • Create, amend, and restate plan documents & Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) to reflect law changes
  • Ensure plans meet IRS/DOL, ERISA regulations.
  • Provide recommendations to improve customer experiences, effectiveness, and efficiency of the team
  • Assist management in collecting data for reporting and representing the team on projects

Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience with 403(b), 401(k), and 457(b) plans
  • Strong understanding of IRC regulations, ERISA, and plan document provisions, including understanding plan provision implications
  • Excellent writing and communications skills
  • Experience communicating with plan sponsors, attorneys, and consultants
  • Effective candidate who can take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • CPC, QKA, CEBS, TGPC designations preferred

Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financial's Houston, TX, office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
