As an Assistant Team Lead, you will support the Pizza Store Manager in daily operations while helping guide and encourage the team on each shift. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, takes initiative, and is ready to grow into greater leadership responsibilities over time.
What You'll Do
  • Support the Pizza Store Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive guest experience.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating strong work ethic, professionalism, and hospitality standards.
  • Provide on-the-floor support during busy shifts to keep service efficient and organized.
  • Assist with training new team members and reinforcing company standards.
  • Help maintain food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Step in to help coordinate the team during shifts when the Team Lead is occupied.
  • Maintain flexibility to support business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • 1-3 years of hospitality or food service experience preferred.
  • Natural leadership qualities with a team-first mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn operational processes and performance standards.
  • ServSafe certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
  • A positive, dependable individual who is eager to grow within the company.
