Job description

Salary: $15.00- $19.25

SUMMARY

Pharmacy/Cashier Teammate supports pharmacists by processing customer orders, and ensuring a safe, efficient customer service and performing general housekeeping duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation of prescriptions. Such as retrieving medications from shelves, count or pour medications, label containers, and price prescriptions.
  • Provide a friendly, helpful, easy, and safe shopping experience for all customers.
  • Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Pharmacy operations, safety, and sanitation
  • Enter customer data into the computer, keep accurate records, complete all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy
  • Process orders to include filling in prescriptions and accepting payment
  • Fulfill general housekeeping duties
  • Minimize shrink through proper handling and storing of product
  • May also work on the front end, responsible for accurately scanning and/or processing all customer orders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
  • Possess basic computer skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills.
