Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications

- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent shortages
- Monitor expiration dates and remove expired or recalled medications from inventory
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy storage areas

4. **Data Entry and Record-Keeping**
- Enter prescription information into the pharmacy management system accurately and efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues with insurance companies
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to prescription processing and record-keeping

5. **Medication Safety and Quality Assurance**
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in medication handling and dispensing
- Assist in monitoring for potential medication errors and discrepancies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services
- Support pharmacists in conducting medication reviews and utilization reviews

6. **Supportive Duties**
- Assist pharmacists with administrative tasks, including scheduling and workflow management
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on pharmacy policies and procedures
- Provide training and guidance to new pharmacy technicians and interns
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacist or Pharmacist-in-Charge
