In this full-time role, you will play an essential part in facilitating patient recovery through personalized therapeutic interventions. Work Environment

Situated in Arlington, Virginia, our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center fosters a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. You will work alongside fellow physical therapists, rehabilitation aides, and administrative staff in a space designed to promote healing and recovery. Your hours will generally be from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, addressing unique goals and needs through thorough assessments and tailored therapeutic approaches.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing for dedicated time and personalized attention to each patient for effective treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of orthopedic care to develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols that enhance patient mobility.
  • Advocate for non-surgical treatment options to reduce reliance on pharmaceuticals while improving motion and functional capacity.
  • Design comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, ensuring a holistic approach to patient wellness.
  • Motivate and support patients in their rehabilitation journey, fostering an encouraging environment that promotes progress and engagement.
  • Continuously assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and individual responses to therapy.
  • Ensure compliance with practice policies and maintain accurate documentation of all services provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient rehabilitation center primarily serves a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals affected by chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, each requiring specialized physical therapy interventions to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Holds an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, demonstrating compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Exhibits a flawless professional record, free of any sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and their application in clinical scenarios.
  • Shows exceptional skill in designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Familiar with EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
  • Stays current with the latest physical therapy research and techniques to provide evidence-based care.
Preferred Experience
