Work Environment

Your hours will generally be from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, addressing unique goals and needs through thorough assessments and tailored therapeutic approaches.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing for dedicated time and personalized attention to each patient for effective treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of orthopedic care to develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols that enhance patient mobility.
  • Advocate for non-surgical treatment options to reduce reliance on pharmaceuticals while improving motion and functional capacity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient rehabilitation center primarily serves a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals affected by chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, each requiring specialized physical therapy interventions to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Holds an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, demonstrating compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Exhibits a flawless professional record, free of any sanctions or board proceedings.
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and their application in clinical scenarios.
  • Shows exceptional skill in designing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Familiar with EMR software, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
