Ortho Span Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Front Royal, Virginia. This is a full-time position, working directly onsite in our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center in Front Royal, Virginia. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on multidisciplinary teamwork. Our staff includes physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, and administrative support, all focused on creating a seamless experience for our patients. You will have access to various tools and resources that facilitate effective treatment and enhance patient engagement.

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and restoring function based on the patients' diagnoses and personal health goals.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical functioning using various diagnostic measures, including muscle and joint assessments, to inform treatment strategies.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring they are executing care plans effectively and in compliance with best practices.
• Evaluate patients’ home environments and suggest modifications that promote safety and independence during recovery.
• Administer manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises while also instructing patients in the execution of self-directed exercises.
• Document all patient interactions and update clinical records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and participate in case conferences to assess patient progress.
• Educate and advise patients and families regarding the physical therapy process, home exercise programs, and the use and maintenance of therapeutic devices.
• Be actively involved in keeping abreast of the latest physical therapy research and practices, integrating this knowledge into your treatment methodologies.
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and funding requirements for care provision.

The ideal candidate will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, chronic conditions, and neurological disorders. • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in Virginia.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance, as travel for home evaluations may be required.
• A passion for helping others with a commitment to clinical excellence and continuous professional development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and team members.

• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist in an acute care or home healthcare setting.
• Experience with orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with documentation tools and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Experience in supervising physical therapy assistants and leading clinical discussions.
