About the Role

As a Staff AI/ML Digital Design Engineer, you will lead and execute complex digital design initiatives that integrate AI/ML techniques into digital IC development workflows. This role emphasizes handson digital design and tool expertise rather than verification, with a focus on applying AI/ML to improve design productivity, quality, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead RTL digital design for complex blocks and subsystems with AI/MLassisted methodologies
  • Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance digital design workflows such as synthesis, timing closure, and optimization
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation leveraging Python, Tcl, and shell to integrate AI/ML into EDA flows
  • Collaborate closely with digital, analog, and system engineers to define robust architectures
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AIenabled digital design tools and methodologies
  • Mentor engineers on advanced digital design practices and AI/ML tool usage
  • Document methodologies, results, and best practices
Required Skills and Experience
  • Expertise in digital circuit design and RTL development (Verilog/SystemVerilog)
  • Strong understanding of complete digital design flows: synthesis, STA, and implementation
  • Handson experience with industrystandard EDA tools for digital design
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Tcl, shell) for design automation
  • Practical experience applying AI/ML concepts to engineering workflows
  • Ability to understand and adapt complex tool documentation and flows
Education and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, with 8+ years of relevant digital design experience.
