P3 Metals is looking for an experienced Full Time Misc. Metals Project Manager.

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful initiation and completion of various misc. metals projects from start to finish ranging from $500K to $2.5M. You will manage contract review, create timelines and budgets, coordinate with clients, ensure quality control, and manage installs. You will be at the forefront of every project you touch, making sure that everything runs smoothly.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years Project Management experience or less with a Project Management degree.
  • Experience fabrication and installation of miscellaneous metals IS A MUST
  • High School Diploma (minimum).
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Strong Computer Skills including Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project), Procore. Knowledge within AutoCad, Tekla, SDS/2 a plus.

Project setup:

  • Review contract, design drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Provide project coordinator with material lists for mill or warehouse orders.
  • Generation of RFI's and Change Orders.
  • Create schedule of values.
  • Evaluate project for potential cost impacts or savings.
  • Update your team, customers, and schedule on an as needed basis.
  • Coordinate shop drawings with detailer, with respect to AISC and ASTM standards.
  • Ensure timely shop drawing submittals and approvals.
  • Review monthly progress billings for accounting department.
  • Communicate with the customer, inner office departments, shop, and field personnel.
  • Site visits to review the progress of your projects.
  • Field measure or verification of dimensions as contractually required.
