Under supervision of the Director, Merchandise Support Systems, coordinates the item setup process beginning after system setup through to products ready for sale on all Boot Barn, Inc. e-commerce sites. This role is responsible for sourcing vendor art for all applicable product/categories/brands, and for ensuring product samples are delivered to the photo studio for photography & checking the naming of the photos once they are taken then loading them to the websites. This individual will work across multiple categories using data, products, material, color and graphic information in a high volume and fast-paced production environment. As a supervisor, this person will oversee all departments ensuring team members are fully trained and adhering to current Boot Barn standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate handoff dates with cross-functional partners such as e-commerce buying team, Merchandise Support Coordinators, photo studio and copy team to ensure all product data/content (including photography and copy) is loaded and available prior or shortly after product receipt dates.
  • Source and load vendor art and studio photos for all vendors that provide it, evaluate suitability for the e-commerce sites.
  • Ensure samples (esp. private brands) are delivered to photo studio team as early as possible for shooting, preferably prior to receipt of inventory in DC.
  • Provide weekly recap of missing samples to the merchant teams and in the ecommerce call.
  • Coordinate with studio manager to schedule photo shoots for respective product categories and monthly photo shoots for emails/site content, product launches.
  • Follow up with the photo studio and copy teams on images/copy that have not been uploaded and communicate all image/copy issues to photo studio and copy teams for correction prior pushing product live on the website.
  • File management includes tagging, backups, coordinating movement & location of electronic files, routing of assets, archiving, and tracking through production.
  • Hire, train, and support the item setup specialists on the team
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience in an ecommerce environment
  • Detail oriented and commitment to quality
  • Must be extremely well organized and be a strong problem solver
  • Self-motivated with good initiative
  • Experience meeting multiple deadlines
  • 1-2 years' experience leading people
