Overview
The Photography Department serves as the central hub for all photography-based digital assets across WWE. The team is responsible for capturing, cataloging, and preserving the company's visual history through the maintenance of both digital and physical archives. By creating, organizing, and distributing these assets, the department supports the photographic needs of multiple business units across the organization, ensuring high-quality imagery is accessible for marketing, digital, broadcast, consumer products, and archival purposes.
The Photo Editor plays a key role in managing the company's photographic assets, maintaining accurate archives, and supporting photographers and internal teams through image selection, editing, and asset distribution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Catalog, organize, and archive photographic assets across both digital asset management systems and physical archives.
  • Apply accurate metadata and perform detailed data entry to ensure imagery is searchable, properly tagged, and easily accessible.
  • Curate and select imagery for a wide range of internal and external projects across WWE platforms including marketing, digital media, broadcast, editorial, and consumer products.
  • Perform photo editing tasks including cropping, light retouching, color correction, and file preparation to meet brand and production standards.
  • Assist photographers during photo shoots and with post-production workflows as needed.
  • Maintain the integrity and historical accuracy of WWE's photographic archives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to fulfill image requests in a timely and organized manner.
  • Manage high volumes of assets and requests while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Travel may be required to support live events, photo shoots, or other departmental needs.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Technical Skills
  • 5+ years of experience working in a photography, media asset management, or digital content environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop).
  • Experience with Photo Mechanic for image ingestion and workflow management.
  • Proficiency with Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with Capture One and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems preferred.
