Job Description:

The photo publicity coordinator provides assistance to the photo team including invoice processing, scheduling, vendor management and organization of images for press requests and press blasts, including captioning. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize are essential. Basic knowledge of photo formats and Adobe Photoshop and Bridge required.

Responsibilities:

  • Uploads to Media Kits press site and confirms Media Kit charges for international markets and works with Getty rep on billing.
  • Uploads to photo team archive in Box.
  • Delivers images to Disney archives following the post theatrical publicity window.
  • Updates photo status documents distributed to wider publicity team.
  • Creates press request documents for international and domestic publicists.
  • Captions photos for press requests and sends out images for domestic and international press requests.
  • Creates links to approved photos for press blasts.
  • Packages and delivers images to other departments in marketing.
  • Handles photographer check in at premieres, creates ID sheets and assists with management of the step and repeat line.
  • Sets up new vendors.
  • Supports the overall photo team with logistics, reporting and invoicing.
  • Handles meeting coordination details including logistics, preparation, invitations, agendas and other materials.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience, preferably within the entertainment industry
  • Proficient in PC and MAC, Keynote experience required
  • Excellent Computer Skills required - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with photo formats
  • Ability to work in a highly matrix organization (ability to work with multiple leaders; managing work demands from multiple sources)
  • Demonstrates ability to ask questions, raise concerns, effective problem solver
  • Experience in working under pressure of competing deadlines while maintaining an attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexibility with work schedule demands including availability for night and weekend overtime

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Photoshop and bridge
The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $54,000.00-$72,300.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
