About The Role
We are looking for a Retoucher to join our high-volume fashion retouching studio. This is an operational position processing and evaluating images for the web. We are looking for someone adaptable to our deadline driven environment that is collaborative and can hold their own to meet personal and team quotas.
What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Retouches and runs quality control on raw images and .jpg general product images to meet The RealReal's visual standards by performing the following duties:
  • Batch color corrects raw product images.
  • Retouches jpg images to match visual standards of each item type.
  • Composites images to scale.
  • Evaluates quality of product styling, color correction and retouching actualized during other workflows
  • Ensures all products in the pipeline, including exceptions, have been addressed appropriately.
  • Meets daily deadlines and goals.
  • Assess and report issues, as needed.
  • Collaborates with team
  • Participates in daily team check-ins to align on priorities
  • Real-time communication with support team as plans are actualized

What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:
  • Proficient understanding of Mac OS, Adobe Creative Cloud's Bridge, Lightroom, and Photoshop
  • Product retouching portfolio featuring before/after examples
  • Possesses clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates self-reliance and a proactive work ethic
  • Exhibits keen attention to detail
  • Possesses excellent color vision
  • Capable of exercising sound judgment while working independently and collaboratively within tight deadlines.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant photo retouching experience
  • Proficiency in utilizing a Wacom tablet

Compensation, Benefits, + Perks
  • Hourly base pay + incentive pay based on performance/quota targets achieved. Applicable to employees who work a minimum of 40 hours per month.

The expected hourly rate for this role is $16.5-$16.5. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
