About the Role

Heal is hiring a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant to serve as a lead broker-consultant, responsible for revenue generation, account ownership, and strategic client advisory. This role is designed for an experienced benefits professional who can originate, close, and retain business while delivering sophisticated health plan guidance.

You will own a book of business, drive new account acquisition, and act as a trusted advisor to employer clients navigating complex healthcare decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through referrals, networking, and outbound efforts
  • Lead prospect discovery, proposal strategy, and carrier negotiations
  • Serve as the primary advisor and broker of record for assigned clients
  • Ensure plan documents, contracts, and compliance requirements are met

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in health & benefits consulting or brokerage
  • Active Life & Health / Life & Disability insurance license (state-specific)
  • Deep knowledge of group health markets, carriers, and funding structures

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
