Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Operations Coordinator assists in the operation and administrative direction of the Department of Pharmacy. Independent judgement is required to implement, coordinate, and monitor the support functions established to deliver accredited, effective and efficient daily patient focused pharmacy services.
The Pharmacy Operations Coordinator carries out responsibilities in accordance with Mercy Core Values, MMC policies and procedures, and state and federal regulatory mandates. He/she is accountable for efficient use of resources and perpetuation of the MMC mission.
Requirements
  • Must possess a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy. Advanced Pharmacy degrees and residency training are preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of progressive hospital pharmacy experience, or an advanced Pharmacy or Business degree and two years of hospital pharmacy experience.
