Director of Pharmacy

Location: Bozeman, Montana
Pay Rate: $ 5000 TO 5400/Week
Contract: 26 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Experience: Minimum 5 Years Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim System Director of Pharmacy for a 26-week contract opportunity in Bozeman, Montana. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned pharmacy executive with extensive hospital leadership experience, responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, strategic initiatives, and serving as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC). The position also leads key projects including 340B program optimization and ambulatory infusion center expansion.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for hospital and retail pharmacy services as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)
• Oversee pharmacy staff, clinical operations, budgeting, inventory management, and regulatory compliance
• Lead 340B program optimization, TPA software implementation, and contract pharmacy expansion
• Direct ambulatory infusion center expansion, sterile compounding compliance, and workflow development

Requirements

• Active Montana Pharmacist License or eligibility for immediate licensure by reciprocity required
• Minimum 5 years of acute care hospital pharmacy leadership experience at Director or Assistant Director level
• Proven experience managing 340B programs, including TPA software implementation
• Experience leading sterile compounding infusion center expansion and pharmacy operations
• BLS/BCLS certification required and EPIC EMR experience preferred
