A local non-profit healthcare organization is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Bilingual Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join a busy healthcare pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients, working in a fast-paced environment, and providing excellent service in both English and Spanish.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist patients at the pharmacy counter
- Register and update patient demographics and insurance information
- Process prescription refill requests and patient payments
- Perform daily cash handling and register operations
- Provide information on medication assistance programs
- Offer Spanish/English interpretation support as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy waiting area
- Assist with over-the-counter inventory and product rotation
- Answer patient questions and help resolve concerns professionally
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Minimum 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience
- Pharmacy Technician license a plus
- Strong computer, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
