Job description

Cosentino's Price Chopper in Belton, MO, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Pharmacist (RPh) to lead our pharmacy as Pharmacist In Charge/Pharmacy Manager. This full-time position requires a leader with strong pharmacy operations and management skills, a commitment to patient care, and a dedication to upholding the highest ethical standards. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including medication dispensation, medication therapy management, and ensuring quality assurance. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Must be currently licensed, in good standing in the State of Missouri.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all pharmacy operations, including inventory management and auditing processes.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient medication dispensation, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide medication therapy management services, including patient education and counseling.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards.
  • Manage pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective leadership.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to ensure patient safety and medication accuracy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Handle medical prescriptions and resolve any issues related to them.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in the state of Missouri.
  • Thorough knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical prescriptions.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication dispensation processes.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and conduct.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
