About the Role:
Hims & Hers is looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst supporting Operations. This role will be the primary finance partner for pharmaceutical manufacturing costs, packaging, and R&D. They will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D leadership to drive cost transparency, margin insights, and disciplined investment decisions. The business is scaling rapidly, creating constant opportunities to improve processes and rethink how work gets done. This is not a purely reporting-focused FP&A role, many of the problems this role will tackle will not have predefined frameworks or clean data. The right candidate is extremely curious, learns fast, collaborates well, and is energized by problem solving and driving decisions in a fast-moving environment. This role will report to the Sr. Finance Manager, Operations Finance.
You Will:
  • Influence Through Data: Mine data to identify opportunities and influence appropriate stakeholders to improve cost structure and unit economics. Support new product launches and process redesign initiatives.
  • Product Cost Planning & Reporting: Own financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for product costs. Drive cost transparency, variance analysis, and margin insights in partnership with Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Financial Modeling: Build dynamic models to evaluate the end-to-end financial impacts of cost changes, supplier decisions, and process improvements. Translate analysis into actionable insights to guide decisions.
  • R&D Finance Support: Support financial planning and expense management for R&D, tracking spend and aligning with FP&A on forecast submissions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve financial and operational processes as the business scales.

You Have:
  • B.S. in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Finance or a related analytic field
  • 4+ years of experience manipulating large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Prior SQL, Python, or Looker experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments where problems are not clearly defined
  • Strong sense of ownership, bias for action, grit, and desire to win
  • Keen eye for efficiency and detail
  • Track record of delivering results through collaboration with stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a high level of intellectual curiosity
