Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, compliance monitoring, renewal, and resolution. This is a customer-facing role that requires regular interaction with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage contractual matters, resolve issues, and support strong business relationships. This position may be suited to a paralegal or a professional with extensive experience in contract management who can balance legal, commercial, and relationship-management responsibilities.

Job Duties:

  • Draft, review, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle.
  • Manage customer, vendor, and other commercial agreements to protect the company's legal and business interests.
  • Monitor contract compliance, performance, obligations, and key deadlines to ensure terms and conditions are met.
  • Conduct periodic contract reviews to identify risks, resolve issues, and support amendments, renewals, and redrafts as needed.
  • Provide contract guidance and practical support to internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and business terms.
  • Resolve contract-related conflicts and support the business in addressing disputes or non-compliance issues.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding contract status, requirements, and outstanding actions.
  • Ensure contract records, documentation, and related communications are accurate, organized, and up to date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and contract administration principles.
  • Prior experience working as a Contract Manager or in a closely related role.
  • Proven contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret contract language and translate obligations into practical business actions.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or specialization in contract law or contract management
  • Working knowledge of contract management systems or software
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Paralegal background or significant hands-on experience in contract management
  • Experience supporting both customer-facing and vendor-facing agreements
